Yardie Fitness, LLC is partnership born out of two individuals’ love and passion for sports, health and fitness. This small company based in the Atlanta metropolitan area strives to reach individuals and communities in unique and interesting ways to encourage and lead them on the road to health and fitness. Yardie Fitness has positively impacted many lives during the last three and a half years helping people make major body and lifestyle transformations. We seek to share our belief with others that fitness is a lifestyle, not a goal.
OUR STAFF
D Diggins, Director of Fitness Programs
D Diggins is a successful personal trainer who was a high school and college superstar in several sports including football, basketball and baseball. His clientele has included individuals in pursuit of careers in professional sports, entertainers, models and many regular folks on a mission to get fit. He is a NESTA certified trainer and also has certifications in CPR, Bally Stretch and Bally B-Fit.
Joquetta Taylor, Certified Personal Trainer
Joquetta is a certified personal trainer who instructs full body strength training classes at gyms, leads indoor and outdoor boot camp programs and conducts small group personal training sessions. Joquetta has extensive experience working with children in the education field. She is very passionate about children living healthy and staying active due to her interest in fitness. She teaches hip hop dance classes, has experience with choreographing dances for school aged children and has appeared in a video as a dancer. She is also certified in CPR.
Portia Lewis, Director of Operations
Portia Lewis is an engineer turned entrepreneur with an avid love of fitness and sports. She ran track in high school and played basketball in high school and college. She recently trained for and completed her first half marathon, two sprint triathlons and several shorter road races.
Tammie Boyce, Certified Personal Trainer, Nutrition Specialist
Tammie has been working out consistently for many years and has trained with many top fitness experts such as Billy Blanks, Tae Bo founder and amateur boxers at LA Boxing. Additionally, she has trained for and run in a full marathon in Hawaii, a half marathon in Jamaica and many 10k races. She is a fitness “junkie” and has embarked upon teaching others in Fitness and Nutrition through her Healthy Eating Cooking Seminars with Yardie Fitness. Others look her up to for her passion and intensity when working out, in addition to healthy cooking tips and recipes. Her fitness and nutrition education includes being certified as a Personal Trainer through AAAI/ISMA, and holding specialty certifications in Sports Nutrition, Weight Mgmt. and Wellness, and Serv Safe Food Safety. She recently completed Culinary School and is passionate about educating others on Healthy Cuisine.
